3.0 out of 5 starsGood but takes time to configure to work correctly

I really like this adapter it has really good range but when you configure it at first it really takes a lot of playing around with to get it working properly. I use it for both windows 7, windows server 2012, and kali along with backtrack 5 r3. I found in windows 7 you really need to mess with the channels when I got mine it was set to FCC which would be correct my country. The main thing that took me so long to figure out is the fragment threshold and the RTS Threshold. This part took me a few hours to find just the right settings, I don't know why this really mattered quite so much but the power was at about 80% to the AP but the link quality was only about 50% until I messed with the settings talked about above, with those settings configured I managed to get it to 97%. You may also notice a little extra cable kind of daisy chained onto the main one, I wouldn't recommend using it, when I plugged both into my system it performed poorly and lost connection and wouldn't allow me to fully connect to the AP.
So for the linux experience it was a bit better, at first my version of kali which I downloaded in june didn't work out of the box with this adapter, I also tried to install the driver that I downloaded online only to get the compile error #2. This issue was later fixed by grabbing and installing updated linux-headers as well as doing an apt-get update on the whole system, only then would the driver fully install and work. I have 0 issues using this in linux now vs windows, didn't take quite as much configuration as windows did besides the update and packages.
The support for this product really lacks whenever I called support it would go to Voice mail box, and I also emailed them my initial problem quite sometime ago, heck I even messaged them 3 different times with different email addresses and still haven't received any response.
So if you buy this product please have somewhat of a solid foundation in fixing computer related things yourself. Understanding how wireless works will also help you quite a bit.
I really would hate to go through an RMA process with this company since it seems like their support is quite flaky and unresponsive.
